Mohamed Salah stands at a crossroads but Neymar could change everything for Liverpool

Mohamed Salah is starting to close in on his 200th Liverpool goal after following up his Merseyside derby brace by scoring against Toulouse.

The Egyptian, who actually scored his 200th league goal in the 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday, now boasts 195 goals from 317 games for the Reds. With Liverpool facing Nottingham Forest, Luton Town, and Brentford in the Premier League, a return trip to Toulouse in the Europa League, and AFC Bournemouth in the League Cup in the forthcoming weeks, you would not bet against the Egyptian reaching that landmark strike before the November international break.

Now with nine goals and four assists from just 12 appearances so far this season, the 31-year-old is unsurprisingly the Reds’ leading goalscorer. Meanwhile, only Erling Haaland (nine goals) has scored more than Salah (seven goals) in the Premier League during the current campaign
