Wataru Endo is amazed to see what Liverpool’s ‘special’ player is like behind the scenes

Wataru Endo praised Mo Salah’s incredible work ethic and waxed lyrical about his “very special” team-mate.The former Stuttgart captain joined United in this summer transfer window alongside Alexis McAllister, Dominic Szoboslai and Ryan Gravenberg. “I am very happy that Mo is joining the team,” the Japan international told Liverpool’s official website.”He is a very special player and a very good person.

“He trains hard and tries his best to score goals. It may look like he didn’t play well, but the next time he gets the chance he will score. “He’s confident and trains with that mindset.”The first 11 minutes were sporadic, even more so. The 30-year-old has appeared in 13 games for Jurgen Klopp this season, amassing almost 600 minutes of football.

What a privilege it is to attend training every week and work alongside one of the top five footballers in the world (the Ballon d’Or ranking is hell!). The Egyptian is a great inspiration to the younger generation of players and pays special attention to his fitness. This is certainly part of what the club can do to keep the number 11 next summer. Salah could set up another major goal in May if he can continue his current trajectory. How do you say goodbye to such a player at the end of the season?
