SHOCKING:Packers star claims responsibility for loss to 49ers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love will spend the rest of the season reflecting on his missed interception in Saturday’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC round.Love, who finished with 194 yards, two touchdowns and two picks in the 24-21 loss, admitted after the game that his attempt to throw a deep pass to Christian Watson near the end of the fourth quarter of was wrong. . . “Go back and put it away,” Love told ESPN’s Rob Demowski.

“I don’t know if I had a chance to run, but maybe I went too far. But procrastination is a great sin and it has cost us a lot. So that’s something I’ll be looking at, but it’s an area we can continue to pursue and grow and develop in the future.”It’s hard to fault Love for his performances despite such harsh conditions. But rarely is a quarterback lucky enough to throw as much as he does.bleach ratio@BleacherReportW 😱 SELECTED WITH(via @NFL) pic.twitter.com/yV6rdlOVEM

The Packers led 21-17 before Anders Karlsson’s 41-yard field goal opened the door for the 49ers’ comeback. Star running back Christian McCaffrey scored with 1:07 left in the game. It was a tough way to end the season for the Packers, who were the youngest team in the league, but still clinched a playoff spot and upset the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card round. The love and camaraderie is certainly motivation to compete for another postseason berth and make a deeper run next season.
