He highlighted Ament’s immense potential, noting that while he is still in the process of refining his game, his physical attributes and natural skill set make him a top-tier recruit. Ament has strong positional size for a face-up forward, standing at over 6-foot-9 with a flexible, athletic frame. Though his wingspan is a relatively modest 6-foot-11, his fluid movement, athleticism, and excellent hands and touch make him a dangerous offensive weapon with significant upside.
While landing Ament may still be a long shot for Kentucky, Pope’s continued efforts signal that the Wildcats are not backing down.
