£15 Million Kentucky Star Now Officially Named as One of the Slowest Players in the NCAA

In a surprising twist for college basketball fans, Kentucky Wildcats’ star forward Jackson Reid, recently valued at £15 million in NIL endorsements and pro projections, has officially been listed among the slowest players in the NCAA, according to the latest athletic performance analytics released this week.

Despite his standout performances in scoring and rebounding, Reid’s speed and agility metrics placed him in the bottom 5% across Division I athletes. The report, compiled by NCAA performance trackers in partnership with several sports science labs, measured sprint times, lateral quickness, and reaction speeds during the 2024-2025 season.

Reid, a 6’9” sophomore and former high school All-American, has been a dominant presence in the paint for Kentucky, averaging 17.8 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. However, analysts note that his lack of speed could raise red flags for NBA scouts ahead of the upcoming draft.

Speaking to reporters after practice, Reid addressed the report with confidence:

> “Look, speed isn’t everything. I make up for it with vision, positioning, and basketball IQ. Numbers are numbers, but I let my game speak for itself.”

Kentucky head coach John Calipari also came to Reid’s defense, stating:

> “Jackson’s contributions to this team go beyond raw athleticism. He’s a leader, a workhorse, and one of the most efficient big men in college hoops right now.”

While the revelation may stir conversations among draft analysts, fans and teammates continue to back Reid, who remains a central figure in Kentucky’s push for a deep March Madness run.
