However, the Uruguayan could have been sent off for this foul. After the referee blew the whistle for a foul, he hit the ball over the goal, which could easily have resulted in a yellow card. Meanwhile, Dalot was booked for foul play and sent off in the 94th minute after receiving a second yellow for his challenge.This inconsistency led fans to criticize the referee for his anti-Liverpool attitude.
