Bill Belichick takes out full-page newspaper ad thanking Patriots fans

Bill Belichick made a big move for New England Patriots fans on Sunday. He took out a full-page ad in the Boston Globe thanking Patriots fans for their support during his 24 years as the team’s head coach.

He praised the enthusiasm of his fans and even joked about his infamous cropped hoodie and angry press conferences.

Belichick led the Patriots to six Super Bowl titles. He went 266-121 in the regular season and 30-12 in the playoffs. He is considered by many to be the greatest coach of all time, and his gratitude will surely be repaid by Patriots fans when he returns to Gillette Stadium for the first time.

Belichick, 71, is just 15 wins away from NFL coach Don Shula’s record of 347 combined regular season and playoff wins. He wants to continue coaching, but has not been able to find a job this hiring cycle. Belichick is expected to explore other career paths at least through the 2024 season.
