Changes are coming to the Green Bay Packers front office structure.The franchise announced Wednesday that it will begin the process of finding its next general manager, with Mark Murphy, who has served as Packers president and CEO since 2007, retiring in July 2025. “The Green Bay Packers today announced details of the search process for the organization’s next leader to succeed Mark Murphy, who has served as Packers president and CEO since 2007,” the press release said. “Murphy will officially retire in July 2025, reaching the mandatory retirement age of 70 for the position, according to the organization’s bylaws. “Susan Finko, Executive Vice President and CEO of the Packers Executive Committee, chairs the Nominating Committee of the Packers Board of Directors.

Additionally, the Korn Ferry team is led by Jed Hughes. Jed Hughes brings decades of high-level experience to the process and has worked with the Packers on other major searches, including the search that identified Murphy as the frontrunner to succeed.
