
As his decades-long reign comes to an end, Green Bay Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy continues to win the hearts of fans with his kindness.When an aspiring Packers fan applied for the team’s vacant defensive coordinator job earlier this season, Murphy turned him down with the best rejection letter ever. According to Richard Ryman of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, he sent Murphy a letter of introduction and half-jokingly asked about D.C. Fans who secured their spot received a personal, handwritten letter from the Packers CEO.Most politely, Murphy politely declined Port and instead offered to check out the Chicago Bears’ vacancy. Murphy wrote:”account,Thank you for submitting your cover letter and resume for our defensive coordinator position. Although your fantasy football experience was impressive, we are sorry to inform you that we have decided to go in a different direction.
