Amid the offseason changes for the New England Patriots, the 2024 NFL Draft looks to be the most important draft in decades.
The Patriots took the third overall pick, their highest since taking Drew Bledsoe first overall in 1993. With several holes on the roster, especially offensively, the Patriots have an opportunity to bring in a future star to fill one of their biggest needs.New England has no shortage of options with its valuable roster, but wide receiver Kendrick Bourne is an obvious choice.
Not only did the Patriots’ top receiver dismiss the idea of a trade, simply answering the question with “don’t do it,” he also mentioned a specific quarterback he’d like to see in New England.”I like [LSU quarterback] Jayden Daniels,” Bourne told NBC Sports Boston. “I’m a big fan of Jayden Daniels.
The Heisman Trophy winner, of course. I like his game because he can be versatile. “I think it will be a good choice for us.”Quarterback might be the biggest need for the Patriots this offseason, and Daniels would be a popular choice if he were to go that route in April.
