Patriots Pass: Brady Reacts to Belichick Not Hired

Eventually, the destinies of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady became inseparable.

The NFL currently does not commit to Sundays, at least until a deal with Fox is officially announced. If the football world is waiting for the former New England Patriot to comment on Belichick’s status…

It was Brady who appeared in the Super Bowl five times and worked with the coach. Brady broke the silence with “Let’s go!” It was discontinued during the last release of the program. A somewhat passive but empathetic podcast. “I don’t know the criteria for hiring coaches.

I was never part of it. I mean, it upsets me that the best coach doesn’t have a job,” Brady told hosts Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray. “But I’ve been surprised by a lot of things in the NFL. “For one reason or another, things often don’t go according to plan.”The fates and legacies of Brady and Belichick have been closely intertwined since Brady collapsed during the 2001 season.

This was the longest and probably the most tumultuous, but it was a victory. A partnership in NFL history.

All but 84 of Belichick’s 333 wins as a head coach have come with Brady starting under center. Brady sympathized with Belichick’s situation, pointing out that it was similar to his own time on the free agent ledger before signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.“When I was a free agent, there were a lot of teams that didn’t want me,” Brady recalled.

A recent spin on the NFL coaching carousel showed eight vacancies, but Belichick interviewed with just one team: the Atlanta Falcons.

Belichick is unlikely to serve as defensive coordinator, but Belichick’s next destination could be television, just like his good friend and coaching pioneer Nick Saban.
