The Patriots should consider signing a veteran like Gardner Minshew II in free agency and drafting Harrison, as Gronkowski hopes, instead of expecting their third-best quarterback to solve most of their problems. While Minshew could provide a capable short-term quarterback, New England will likely shore up its offense for a long-term answer at the position.
