Huge news as browns set to welcome key player back from injury against the jaguars….

Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett returned to practice on a limited basis Friday and is expected to play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Garrett missed practice Thursday when he appeared on Cleveland’s injury report with a foot problem. He said the injury did not occur in the Week 1 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, but that he had been dealing with it throughout the game.

Garrett declined to reveal how the injury initially occurred and jokingly referred to Browns coach Kevin Stefanski.

“I can tell you,” Garrett said. “And getting yelled at by Kevin? So I’m good.”

Garrett said the injury won’t be an issue against the Jaguars.

“I wouldn’t say it’s anything to worry about,” Garrett said. “It’s something we have to deal with and I’ll be aware and a little careful.”

Garrett is the NFL Defensive Player of the Year after collecting 14 sacks and four fumble recoveries last season.

Meanwhile, Cleveland offensive tackle Jack Conklin is listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis in three practices this week. He has not played since suffering a severe right knee injury in the 2023 season opener.

Offensive tackle Jedrick Wills (knee), who has season-ending surgery at the end of the 2023 season, has been ruled out. Tight end David Njoku was waived earlier this week by Stefanski.

For Jacksonville, cornerback Darnell Savage (quadriceps) will sit out. Defensive end Tyler Lacy (foot) and linebacker Caleb Johnson (back) are questionable
