Star linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah suffered a severe neck injury, raising concerns about his ability to continue playing. Conflicting reports initially cast doubt on his future in football, but recent updates suggest he is making steady progress in his recovery.
According to Mary Kay Cabot of *Cleveland.com*, while there is no definitive timeline for his return, the Browns remain optimistic about his career:
> “The Browns are hopeful he’ll be able to resume his career, but it’s unknown when that might be. In the meantime, he’s moving everything well and making good progress,” Cabot reported.
Before the injury, Owusu-Koramoah led the team with 61 combined tackles. He sustained the injury during a high-impact collision with Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry, a moment that left him on the worse end of the play.
