Injury Woes Mount for Lions: Two Out, One Questionable for Monday Night Showdown!

The Detroit Lions have ruled out two players and listed one as questionable for Monday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Running back David Montgomery and wide receiver Kalif Raymond will not play, while linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin’s status remains uncertain.

Montgomery is set to miss his second consecutive game due to a knee injury and is expected to remain sidelined until the postseason. Raymond, who is just returning to practice after a stint on injured reserve, is out as he recovers from a foot injury sustained during the Lions’ late-November win over Indianapolis.

Reeves-Maybin, recovering from a neck injury suffered against the Packers in Week 9, was activated from injured reserve late last week and is officially questionable for Monday’s game.

Cornerback Terrion Arnold and offensive lineman Graham Glasgow are both expected to play despite recent setbacks. Arnold was limited in Friday’s practice and missed Thursday’s session due to illness, but he appears ready for action.

### Depth Tested at Linebacker
Reeves-Maybin is one of several Lions linebackers who have missed time this season, forcing Detroit to rely on depth players like Ben Niemann. Defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn praised Niemann’s versatility and understanding of the system, noting his ability to play multiple linebacker positions and adapt to shifting roles during games. Glenn also highlighted Ezekiel Turner’s contributions in coverage situations, emphasizing the importance of players who can fill various roles as needed.

### Week 17 Injury Report
– **David Montgomery**: OUT (Knee)
– **Kalif Raymond**: OUT (Foot)
