The Shocking Omission: Packers’ $68 Million Star Left Off the Pro Bowl Roster…Due To…

The Green Bay Packers are heading to the playoffs, and while three of their players were selected for the Pro Bowl, one standout star was left off the roster. Elgton Jenkins, a two-time Pro Bowler and standout guard, had another impressive season, allowing just one sack and earning an 83.1 pass-blocking grade, the second-best in the league according to Pro Football Focus. Jenkins expressed his frustration on social media, noting how “weird” things were getting as the rosters were announced. Although Jenkins was named a first alternate, many believe he deserved a spot over other NFC guards, such as Landon Dickerson, Chris Lindstrom, and Tyler Smith, who all allowed more sacks than Jenkins.
