Browns owner Haslam addresses viral rumors of Kevin Stefanski being sacked after Baltimore Ravens loss

Following the Cleveland Browns’ recent loss to the Baltimore Ravens, rumors have circulated regarding the potential dismissal of head coach Kevin Stefanski. Addressing these speculations, Browns owner Jimmy Haslam expressed his perplexity over the team’s disappointing 3-10 record but indicated that no immediate coaching changes are planned. Haslam emphasized the importance of evaluating the team’s performance in its entirety after the season concludes, suggesting that while he remains supportive of Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry, all aspects of the organization will be scrutinized.

Despite the team’s struggles, multiple players have publicly and privately expressed support for Stefanski. Defensive end Myles Garrett, for instance, has endorsed Stefanski’s leadership, stating, “We got those guys right there leading the charge organizationally… I’ll be happy to play for Cleveland.”

Stefanski, who earned Associated Press Coach of the Year honors in 2023 after guiding the Browns to a playoff berth, appears to retain the confidence of both the ownership and the locker room. However, with the Browns’ performance under intense scrutiny, the offseason will likely involve a comprehensive evaluation of the coaching staff and roster to address the team’s shortcomings and strategize for future success.
