The senior sharpshooter, who has been instrumental in the Wildcats’ campaign, confirmed that he will be declaring for the NBA Draft, marking the end of his collegiate career.
In a statement released earlier today, Reeves expressed gratitude toward his coaches, teammates, and fans. “Kentucky has been a dream come true for me, and I will always cherish my time here. After a lot of thought and discussions with my family, I have decided to take the next step and pursue my professional career.”
Reeves has been a key player for the Wildcats, averaging impressive numbers and delivering clutch performances throughout the season. His leadership and scoring ability have made him a fan favorite, and many analysts project him as a potential first-round pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.
Kentucky head coach John Calipari praised Reeves for his contributions to the team. “Antonio has been an incredible player and an even better person. We support him 100% in this decision and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes at the next level.”
With the Wildcats gearing up for the postseason, Reeves is determined to finish his college career on a high note, aiming to lead Kentucky to a deep tournament run before officially saying goodbye to the program.
