The team amassed a record-breaking 181.5 points, surpassing the previous mark of 170.5 set the previous year. Five Penn State wrestlers clinched individual titles, tying a school record. Notably, true freshman Luke Lilledahl won the 125-pound title, and Starocci was named Big Ten Wrestler of the Year.
