Lindsey Vonn opted to lose some layers during her most recent training session.
The 40-year-old Olympic gold medalist is back on the slopes, putting in the hard work post 2025 FIS Ski World Cup. Vonn shared her latest high-speed training session with her Instagram followers on Wednesday, April 9, where she could be seen flying down the mountain in a sweater vest – no jacket in sight.
“Going fast… just how I like it! Spring testing camp is officially under way 💃🏼…. And yes, I’m training in my sweater vest. Can’t go wrong with a sweater vest!.” the Alpine skier captioned the video, which racked up a ton of comments from fans.
“Love a sweater vest! 👍” one said, while another stated, “Go sweater vest!!!!🔥🔥🔥”
Another fan shared, “LFG!!! Can‘t wait to see you skiing again next season! Take care! ⛷️🔥.”
“Lightning in the clouds ⚡⛷️,” a third said.
Vonn paired her vest with a patriotic ski suit, featuring red and white stripes plus a blue star pattern down the legs.
Despite facing a career-threatening injury, which inevitably led to her retirement in 2019, Vonn continues to defy expectations, and many are excited to see her back on the mountain.
