I’m Not Done Yet’: Former Kentucky Star Declares Return to Lexington

Big Blue Nation just received the news they’ve been hoping for.

In a stunning and emotional announcement, Antonio Reeves, one of Kentucky’s top scorers from last season, has officially declared his return to Lexington for another year, stating boldly: “I’m not done yet.”

The senior guard made the announcement Monday via Instagram, where he posted a video montage of his time in the blue and white, ending with a simple but powerful message: “One more run. Let’s get it.”

Reeves, who averaged 14.4 points per game during the 2023–24 season, was a vital part of the Wildcats’ offense and leadership core. Many fans and analysts expected him to declare for the NBA Draft, but his decision to return instantly boosts Kentucky’s outlook for the upcoming season.

> “Coming back to Kentucky isn’t just about basketball,” Reeves said. “It’s about legacy, it’s about family, and it’s about chasing something bigger than myself.”

Head Coach John Calipari praised Reeves’ leadership and commitment, calling his return “a huge win for our program.” With several incoming five-star freshmen and Reeves anchoring the backcourt, expectations are once again sky-high in Lexington.

As one fan commented, “Antonio Reeves is back. Banner No. 9 might not be far behind.”
