Skier Killed in Accident Near Summit at New Hampshire Ski Area

Tragedy struck at a popular New Hampshire ski resort on Monday when a skier was killed in an accident near the summit area of the mountain.

Resort officials confirmed that ski patrol responded to an emergency call around 11:15 AM at the [name of ski area], where they discovered an adult male skier unresponsive after an apparent high-speed collision with a tree off a marked trail. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, the skier was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending family notification. Weather conditions at the time were clear with good visibility, but resort officials noted that the snowpack had hardened overnight, creating faster-than-usual conditions.
