Two Women in Intensive Care After Tragic Skiing Accident

Two women are currently fighting for their lives in intensive care following a devastating skiing accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the popular Snow Crest Ski Resort.

According to eyewitness reports, the women, both in their late twenties, lost control while descending a steep slope and collided at high speed with a tree off the marked trail. Emergency responders were quick to arrive at the scene and provided immediate medical assistance before airlifting both victims to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Medical officials have confirmed that the women sustained severe injuries, including head trauma and multiple fractures. They remain in critical but stable condition, with medical teams working around the clock to monitor their progress.

Resort officials have launched an investigation into the incident, and safety patrols have been increased in response. “Our thoughts are with the injured skiers and their families. We are fully cooperating with authorities to understand how this happened,” a spokesperson for the resort said.
