
Lynn Ban, the renowned jewelry designer and fashion icon, has died weeks after sustaining critical injuries in a skiing accident, her family confirmed today. She was 51.
The accident occurred in late March while Ban was skiing in the Swiss Alps. Despite undergoing multiple surgeries and intensive care, she succumbed to her injuries earlier this week, surrounded by family and close friends.
Known for her bold, avant-garde designs, Ban rose to fame dressing celebrities such as Rihanna, Madonna, and Beyoncé. Her work frequently graced red carpets and fashion editorials, earning her a cult following in both the fashion and entertainment industries.
Tributes have poured in from across the globe. “Lynn was a creative force and a true original,” said designer Marc Jacobs. “Her energy and vision will be deeply missed.”
