Sad News: Local Youth Hockey Player Dies in Tragic Skiing Accident

 

The community is mourning the loss of a beloved young athlete after a tragic skiing accident claimed the life of 16-year-old Tyler Jameson, a local youth hockey player known for his talent, leadership, and infectious spirit.

 

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at Silver Ridge Ski Resort, where Tyler was skiing with friends and family. According to authorities, he lost control on a steep slope and collided with a tree. Despite wearing a helmet and receiving immediate medical attention, Tyler succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

 

Tyler was a star forward for the Ridgeview Hawks and had recently been named team captain. His coaches and teammates described him as a dedicated, hardworking player with a bright future both on and off the ice.

 

“Tyler was the heart of our team,” said Coach Mike Reynolds. “He led with compassion, courage, and grit. This is an unimaginable loss.”
