Former Kentucky Wildcats Fan Favorite Resurfaces, Signs Unexpected Contract

In a surprising twist, former Kentucky Wildcats fan favorite Tyler Ulis has resurfaced on the basketball scene, signing an unexpected contract with Virtus Bologna, a top-tier Italian club in the EuroLeague.

After a period away from the spotlight due to injuries and rehabilitation, Ulis is making a comeback that has fans buzzing. Known for his lightning-quick speed, court vision, and leadership during his time at Kentucky, Ulis captured hearts during the 2015–2016 season and was named SEC Player of the Year.

His return to professional basketball marks a major milestone after battling setbacks that left many wondering if he’d ever play again. The contract with Virtus Bologna includes a one-year deal with a player option for a second season.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity and ready to prove I still have a lot left in the tank,” Ulis said in a statement released by the club.

Fans of Big Blue Nation are celebrating the return of one of their most beloved point guards, hoping this marks the start of a major career revival.
