
In a celebration of legacy, talent, and dominance, the University of Kentucky has officially unveiled its All-Quarter Century Team, honoring the most impactful Wildcats in men’s basketball since the turn of the millennium.
Spanning a golden era that includes multiple Final Four appearances, an undefeated regular season, and a national championship, the list features household names who not only left a lasting mark on Rupp Arena but also carried their talent to the NBA’s biggest stages.
The All-Quarter Century Team, selected by a panel of UK basketball historians, coaches, and fan voting, includes a dynamic mix of championship leaders, one-and-done superstars, and heart-and-soul veterans. Here’s a look at the honorees:
Starting Five:
John Wall (PG, 2009–10) – The explosive floor general who helped launch the Calipari era with flair and swagger.
Devin Booker (SG, 2014–15) – A lethal shooter who’s blossomed into an NBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist.
Tayshaun Prince (SF, 1998–2002) – The versatile forward who anchored the early 2000s Cats with poise and perimeter defense.
Anthony Davis (PF, 2011–12) – The shot-blocking phenom who led Kentucky to its eighth national championship.
DeMarcus Cousins (C, 2009–10) – A dominant force in the paint and one of the most physically gifted big men in program history.
