In a landmark decision, the University of Kentucky\u2019s Board of Trustees has approved a massive $175 million renovation and expansion of the legendary Rupp Arena. The upgrade will increase seating capacity to 31,000, making it the largest arena in college basketball history.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The expansion plan, years in the making, aims to modernize the fan experience while reinforcing Rupp Arena\u2019s status as the heart of college hoops.
